Funniest Moments

i'm someone who loves to laugh - i tend to laugh loud and laugh much - which i actually get annoyed at myself for. coz people notice it, and i feel stupid sometimes. especially if i can't control my laughing very well. i laugh all the time during handball, i laugh all the time around certain people, i laugh when i'm scared, i laugh when i'm nervous, but it's just always been that way - and that's how it is. the funniest moments i can remember...

1. sam stacking it on the woodchip pile in 1999 whilst running, turning a corner and having his arms folded, all at the same time... hehe

2. libby, debbie, me and sam's laughing fit in the car home from windsor all started by fake laughing, where i had to pull over from driving coz i was laughing so hard i was crying. and sam poking himself in the eye accidentally while having that fit, and us laughing all the more, and then libby re-enacting sam poking himself in the eye, and, not meaning to, but also poking herself in the eye

3. libby#2 stacking it INTO the back of the couch at GAP when trying to go OVER the back of it to lie on the seat. me and ben were the only ones who saw it and couldn't stop laughing for about 10mins, and then we'd look at each other and get the giggles all over again

4. tim doing his impressions of adam, steve & ben, and the funny word thingy. all three get me everytime!

5. scottie doing that handball thing

much more than all that - but i think the top four stand out! i think sam's wins though as an all time thing, whereas tim's does have continuity of hilarity.

handball

i ended up staying an extra hour at youth group last night, just to play handball... top game that! it ended up everyone else leaving and just me, scottie, gareth, luke and ben playing. which was lots of fun - but slightly more difficult?! i was just the stupid girl who missed shots and filled a square - but it was still insanely funny !!!
not as funny but as when Scott was bouncing the brown tennis ball and just as he said "we can't play with this you can't see it" accidently bounced it into his face - proving his point. ok, you did have to be there but it was hilarious...

youth concert tonight at ruddock. i hope it goes off... and that heaps of people show up, the "Blind" rocks!, that the weather holds up, that people are kept safe and there aren't any huge issues or injuries, that people come into God's Kingdom tonight!! and that others are drawn close to that point. We leave it in your hands God. May this night bring all glory to YOU!!!

random

ooooohh... such a headache. you know the ones that are just there... yuk. chocolate will make me feel better. maybe its a caffeine withdrawal thing.

meanwhile, youth group tonight. doing the 'talk' as it were. well, i'm getting the kiddies to answer questions on cardboard about King David and his three anointings, and then write a corporate psalm. we did it at a work training day. it's awesome coz you pass the sheets around the group and add the next bit. so hopefully it works tonight. i worry that William will just be silly, but the rest should be ok.

we had such fun in the office today rearranging all the messiness - well not rearranging, but fixing. so much more tidyness and space. very important for a work envt me thinks. my desk is so much the impressive, and my little trip section. Ki has big plans for the rest of the office. i think her dad's got us 4 new workstations - hoorah!

but oh, so much dust!!

and i'm about to toddle off home, after a 8am start this morning with team breakie. but Tim will meet me soon!! and that will be lovely. Haven't seen him since Monday arvo - boo hoo :) - so yay!

And i did the ultimatum thing with my Dad about cutting all my hair off again or piercing my nose... and he wasn't impressed. at least mum and Tim had preferred options. so, ba baow.

sleep

what do you think constitutes a good nights sleep vs a bad nights? is it the length, the quality, a mixture of both, how tired you were to begin with, what dreams you have or don't have??? i was wondering coz i think 7 hours doesn't quite cut it for me. Debs only had 3 hrs the night before last - and thats ridiculous, but she was finishing an assignment til 2-something am and then had coaching at 6am... insane. hence my theory that for a 6am rise (which is me), you need a 10pm asleepness.
that trip dream still freaks me out - but it was amazing that Scottie showed up. pity it was only a dream... only in that sense!

It works!

i thought id lost it all and this was all stuffed up, but it's still here. thats exciting.
i walked home from the station today, and wrote in my thoughts book as i walked. that was a bit strange. and my writing was very messy. but i'd remembered that i liked all the houses in stuart ave - and that was worth making a note about.

i'm going "an evening with janita rose" tonight. she's an awesome, amazing singer. it should be tops!

Blog #1 - Hoorah

well, i never thought i'd end up doing it but here i am... and google led me to a free blog sign up and thought what the hey. why not. so here i am. and here you are. i'm not promising anything mind blowing, or anything worthwhile reading even, but sometimes it might be interesting. maybe. and i enjoy reading other people's blogs, so maybe someone will enjoy reading mine. meanwhile... i'm bored at work (not that i don't have anything i could and should be doing). the trip will get organised one day :)
