sunday wasn't all that much better. he only fed three times (instead of his normal six). it seems he is also teething, so that doesn't help matters.
he's also not been sleeping well at night. up a few times and refusing to feed. then fussing for ages. so we're all a bit sleepy.
today he has fed twice so far, but it has taken a bit of convincing.
poor little guy. it's so hard when you have to guess what the problem is.
meanwhile, howie isn't any better. more vomiting and diarrhea this morning. so he's off to the doctor this afternoon. hoping there will be some sort of answers, rather than "keep eating plain foods" "it will pass".
thankfully i'm feeling better. at least that's one of us.
Category: bubbaI assume he's been checked to see he's not a coeliac and those sort of things. Poor Howie!
Poor both of you for having an upset baby. When Mitch was teething he was off his food and had diahorrea and dribbled a lot and had a very red face and was hot and didn't sleep. Baby Panadol was our friend. I'm not looking forward to that in stereo :)
I hope it all does get better for all three of you.
yep i've been tested for everything, and had cameras up and down every hole you can think of. along with biopsies and blood tests, different doctors, specialists, and hospitals.
On some antibiotics now to see if i can kick this current explosion season
Posted by: Howie at June 29, 2009 05:12 PMVery dud. I hope it sorts itself out soon.
Posted by: Dave at June 29, 2009 08:22 PMPerhaps I just went to a dodgy doctor, but when Evie just turned seven months and we were on holidays, she went 24 hours without feeding, I figured it was best to go to the dr at this stage, who said she's fine, come back after 48hours if she still hasn't had a feed, unless her skin stays stuck together when you pinch it! That felt like forever! But she did drink after about 27 hours!!! The local pharmacist said the same, it kind of made me feel better whenever she went long streches without a feed...
Hope your boys are doing better!
