ironwoman

my tests didn't really say much. the ultrasound i still assume was fine. the blood tests had a couple of slight irregularities but nothing that pointed to anything.

although i did have high iron. they assumed i must have had a supplement that morning, but i haven't had one for months. plus i can't remember the last time i had red meat. or green leafy vegetables. or anything yummy. so that is a little weird. but again, doesn't point to anything.

so the doctor thinks i may have reflux. he gave me tablets totry if it flares up again. if the tablets work, it is reflux. if they don't, then it's back to the drawing board.

so in conclusion, no closer to an answer.

but i just don't care anymore. i will make my head say i'm fine and my body will follow.

Did he give you Zoton for the reflux? Zoton chnaged my life. I used to wake up almost night with a burning sensation in my throat and feeling sick. Zoton fixed that.

nah, it's nexium. i'm not convinced it's reflux. or if it is, it's not gastroesophageal reflux, its gastrointestinal.

Okay, reflux lower down. Odd that your iron is so high. Hopefully its not Haemochromatosis- which causes iron to build up in your body because your body can't get rid of it or something. It can cause all sorts of weird symptoms - look it up on Wikipedia. The treatment is basically to bleed you 4 times a year to stop the iron building up.

Warning: Self-diagnosis via the internet can be bad for your health!
