so far i have had a most enjoyable long weekend.
yesterday was really good, having lunch with debs and my grandpa, and visiting grandma. it was really nice to spend a chunk of time with grandpa and hear his stories and laugh with him. he is a good man. and of course it's always funny to see grandma - she's a hoot.
then debs and i watched geelong cane the power. how embarrassing if you are a port supporter. or player! but the cats have had a good year and deserved to win. it was fun hanging out with my sister. which continued into the evening when i went to the parentals and watched die hard. although debbie did fall asleep. how can you do such a thing in die hard!?!
today was good fun as i got to see sam for the first time since he got back. and i got to see him in style, as lachie and debs joined us to see rush hour 3 (review post to come). what a bunch of friendlies. our plan to watch all three rush hours fell through because no video store had #2, so instead we watched scream 2. just for something a little different
it was good fun hanging out. although we were all pretty buggered.
then church tonight i got to see cathy for the first time since she got back. which was lovely.
now it's time for some friends episodes. yew!
