had a tops time celebrating will's birthday today at whale beach. it was lovely and warm. i even got a tan line, after all my suncream application! ooooh bring on summer!
it was good fun chatting with peoples, being silly and funny, playing soccer (oh i suck), shielding ourselves and the youngens from topless ladies, eating a LOT of food, and of course singing happy birthday to will.
good on you will for having a birthday. and for having good taste in friends.
our afternoon has consisted of a nap, followed by homely duties - lawnmowing for husband, and house cleaning for wife. i'm still to vacuum. but i'll get there.
then packing time.
and hopefully bed time because we leave for the airport just after 7am. boo for that being the cheapest flight.
