husband and i went out to dinner tonight to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, which is tomorrow. we went to castle hill in search of an italian restaurant. there were a few to choose from, and we ended up at Il Nido The Nest. it wasn't too bad. it was fun to eat out like a "real" couple.
but the random was that the main street was blocked off and traffic diverted because of a street parade. we aren't really sure what it was a parade of. there were lots of people with balloons leaving the area, but nothing else much going on except for big flood lights, lots of cars, people in bright traffic jackets, school children and diverted traffic.
now we're back home watching the AFL. all fingers are crossed for the swans. looks like it could be a stressful game.
