that tradesman who never turned up a few weeks ago just rang. he'd been checking his books, and saw me in there but that nothing had come of it. damn straight - you didn't turn up! he apologised, after i clarified that it was him who didn't turn up, not me who didn't call. i decided to forgive him. so i'll be up ready and waiting for him this friday. but if he doesn't show....
