watery issue

i would be very disappointed in the government if they decided to reduce water restrictions because the dams reach 50%. iemma isn't saying there are plans to, but i saw the water minister (or whatever the title) talking about it last week, that it would be nice to allow people to wash their cars again. i don't really think that's a priority mr water man. i think people being able to drink clean water in the future is a little more important.

i would like to own my own house. so we could install tanks, and do things with grey water, and be more efficient and sustainable. but alas.

Don't do too many "alas"es (that does sound like "asses" doesn't it? There is stuff you can do without it being your own place. We are renting and still trying to do the enviro thing, and succeeding a lot of the time.

we do try - shorter showers, washing only when full load (clothes and dishes), half flush, compost, recycling, don't ever water the garden :)
but there's more we'd like to do, but can't coz it's not our place.
