and so we came home on a 9am flight on sunday. the early morning was due to a Swans game at the SCG - there was no way I was missing it.
we had a mid morning snack at Maccas, in westfield centrepoint. and all these pretty signs were stuck on the door, mostly out of customer sight - i don't know that you can read it all that well

but it tells the workers that they need to smile and ask us customers how our day is going, to make eye contact, to get our order in 30 seconds, and to thank us and tell us to have a nice day. all part and parcel with being a maccas worker. they are also told that 2 deep is too deep (in lines) - i think thornleigh maccas might need to be reminded of that.
we walked through hyde park on our way to oxford street and centennial park

howie took some time out as we waited for dad, lachie and debs - and a man driving past stopped out of concern asking if he was alright!

the game was pretty good. the swans fought hard - mostly. also, they won because i had tipped against them. of course.

and sometimes you just have to take photos of howie and debbie

so that was our sunday back in sydney.
today is back at work.
