i enjoyed my yesterday. debs, howie and me ventured to the oaks to spend the afternoon with our family celebrating grandma's 80th birthday, which is on wednesday.
there were a LOT of old people. most somehow related to me, and a few just old friends of Gma's. us cousins stuck mostly with people under the age of 32. perhaps i shall introduce them to you.
four sevenths of the girls, kylie, kimberly, nat and debs
the lone boy, andrew, and me
mel and debs
in very exciting news, my cousin jo is pregnant! due 5th november. so that's very cool. isn't she looking lovely
and i'm sure she and natalie will kill me if they ever find these photos are available for the world to see!
and kaysey was very cute, as always, singing us songs and dancing and being a cute little 26 month old
the boys-in-law were like little social butterflies, as you can clearly see howie and steve demonstrating
grandma seemed to have a lovely day catching up with people. she found plenty of opportunity to be cheeky as well. she's a good sort.
we had a jolly old time with family. and had to leave early because of our full social calender.
kirri and tim's engagement party was good times. very relaxed and pretty in kirri's backyard - wonderful use of lanterns, fairylights and tea lights. it was good to hang out with peoples: cathy, grant, debs, howie, ben, steve, sam, libby, chuck, deby. and of course to celebrate with kirri and tim. tim is one of my favourite people. kirri is pretty damn good too. yay for them getting married.
and then it was home time before 11pm because we are all grandmas.
