there is a particular pedestrian crossing that i use virtually every day, and a few times a day at that.

and i would have to say that 70% of the time that i'm crossing, someone drives through it while i'm on the road. and at least twice i've had to stop as i'm crossing because some idiot driver doesn't stop, and would have cleaned me up if i'd kept going.

correct me if i'm wrong, but last time i looked at the road rules book, a pedestrian crossing means pedestrians have right of way. and cars have to stop for us. the big yellow signs mean open your eyes people!
