continuum

time passes pretty quickly doesn't it. in some ways i like that. my brain tends to work by counting down to things, counting down through things, and then counting down to the next thing. i must like time passing quickly whether i think about it or not. perhaps i'd prefer it to pass quickly on my terms though. some things i'd like to savour a bit more. others, i'm quite happy for them to wizz past.

i think this year will continue to go quickly. and i don't see life slowing down anytime in the future. it seems to go faster as you get older.

what's with that?

I have a theory on the "time passes more quickly as you get older" thing. My theory is this... When you're younger, say age 5, 1 week is a more significant portion of the total time that you have been alive than it is when you are say 22. Not including leap years, when you are 5, one week is approximately 0.38% of how long you have actually been alive whereas at 22 its 0.00087% of how long you have acutally been alive. If you apply the theory completely; when you are age 22 0.38% of the total days you have been alive would be 30 days... hence, as a result the passing of 30 days when you are age 22 would feel about the same length of time as 7 days passing to a 5 year old... I think I am a geek?

Yes. Scott you are a geek. It makes sense though. As a 36 year I certainly rekon things come up and go by faster than ever before. It is just crazy to think we are finally in April. I don't know why it is but it is. Have a tops time on your trip. Keep safe and bring people into the Kingdom :D
