new car smell

today was cleaning day. well cleaning morning. i like cleaning day. it means the boys get to go outside for some sun. and it means things are clean.

the afternoon held adventures with sister and husband. the good news is that she finally got her new car - christened 'bubblegum'. the not as good news was the lengthy, stupid process it took to finally receive the car. but we won't go into that.

we went on a celebratory drive, as you must with the arrival of a new car

it was fun to hang out with my sister. we have much too busy lives.

we went to pie in the sky. what a good idea. i had me a beef pie. there was no chicken left at all! so howie had beef too. debs went a sausage roll.

in total unrelatedness to pies or sausage rolls, we pulled strange faces

and then we had icecream at brooklyn. i ate mine too fast, so it didn't star in the photo

and back to our place to partake in some singstar.

howie finally reached the singstar milestone. he was damn excited!

good job howie.
