i decided last night i would like to do a family tree, so i started asking mum and dad questions about their families. mum was hopeless. but grandma and grandpa were a little more helpful today, which was helpful funnily enough.
they also pointed me in the direction of one of my third cousins who has done a family tree for my grandpa's family. so pilfering info off other people looks like the way to go. i think my dad's mum also has a family tree for that side. so i'm halfway there!
there are some quality olden-days names in my family even from just two generations ago: mavis, alice, phyllis, theodora, lionel, stella, arthur, victor, noelene, edna, the list goes on.
names are funny things.
Category: Reminiscencesgo a step further is my tip Jen. put a few words, good and bad, about the people in your list. Sometimes you can see patterns of behaviour in your family, which is both scary and helpful
