as a kid, and even a teenager, i didn't go to the movies all that much, nor hire videos. so most of the movies i saw were television versions (recorded off tv - shhhh). this now means that whenever i buy or hire a dvd of movies that i loved as a kid/teenager, there is much more violence and swearing than i ever remember. bad boys is a prime example. it's slightly disappointing to think that i prefer tv versions.
