i tried to log into MSN at home today - no deal! it says:
'a new version is available. you must install the newer version in order to continue. would you like to do this now? yes/no'
that's all well and good, slightly annoying, but hey.
so i say yes, and it starts to install, but then tells me that my computer can't run the program because it's too old a version of windows or something.
so i can't run MSN because it tells me to upgrade, but my computer isn't smart enough to.
bummer!
Category: GrrrrrrrrTry Gaim. It lets you sign in to a whole bunch of different networks at once. And it isn't totally crap.
Posted by: Ryan at May 10, 2006 10:42 PMI used gaim for a while on my old computer casue had the same problem with msn. i didnt like gaim.
but you should have the new lappy at your house soon that will have xp so you can use msn again, or you could use gaim now.
Posted by: howie at May 10, 2006 11:11 PMlol, what windows do you have?
and doesn't windows messenger work?
if not, www.e-messenger.net is the alternative i usually use. sounds like it might be similar to gaim, but give it a try if your desperate.
