i have this problem that when i sniff milk to see if it's off, i can't actually tell the difference between normal milk and off milk. it makes life quite difficult. the only tell tale sign for me is lumpiness.

Posted by: Tom at May 1, 2006 10:18 PMPour some of the suspect milk into a cup of boiling water. If it separates into lumpy bits, then it's off. If it just looks normal then it should be a-ok.. as long as no-one has put arsenic in it or anything. Boiling water will always tell you.
