the other week howie bought some antibacterial hand gel - one of those ones where you don't need water. it's good fun to clean your hands every so often (or more frequently if your Mr OCD). but i'm wondering whether me using it, and purchasing my own bottle yesterday, is against my convictions. i've always struggled with 'antibacterial' everything epidemic of recent decades - bacteria get a raw deal - they aren't all bad!! and the ones that are nasty, they seem to decide to survive somehow and darwinise into superbugs. so in short, i am not sure if i'm in the middle of some internal moral conflict.
