i was thinking today about how much better i like cats than dogs. i say "i like" coz i don't want people abusing me for saying cats are actually better than dogs. they are like little self contained units who look after their own cleanliness - they bathe themselves, and bury their own excrement. they don't smell. they don't need to be taken on walks. they are happy to eat only dry food (maybe dogs are too, i don't know). they're good hot water bottles. they don't bark incessently. yep. cats are good.

I know you tried to avoid people arguing, but you still put forward reasons why cats are better than dogs, so I thought I might breifly do the same.
