"If you give God the right to yourself, he will make a holy experiment out of you. God's experiments always succeed." - Oswald Chambers

Phil and I have started reading through "The Heavenly Man". I think it will be one of those books that I have to discipline myself not to read ahead but go through slowly, and absorb. It looks like a good read so far. I don't want it to be just a good read. I want it to be something God uses to speak to me. So I have to be listening. I know that when I read great stories, like with 'No Compromise' and Keith Green's story - it's too easy to write it off as something that happens to other people, ways that God uses 'them' and not me. But I don't know God's plans. If I'm fully abandoned to Him, who knows where He could take me. That is scary as much as it is exciting.
